As we all are aware, health care workforce resources are limited due to many factors: low unemployment rates, competitive wages, baby boomers retirements, the great resignation, etc.

What are some strategies or innovation has your organization i implemented to ensure quality care to patients with limited workforce resources?

This has not been implemented here, but at a prior hospital, the employer developed a shift specifically for student nurses so they could work as an CNA and attend school, plus allow for study. The hours were 3 pm - 9 pm. Almost everyone who worked in one of those roles, took a RN position at the facility when they graduated.

If and where possible, leveraging electronic resources or processes to offset/eliminate manpower required. In turn, manpower can be utilized elsewhere.
